Data protection
§ 1 General
We process your personal data (e.g. title, name, address, email address, telephone number, banking details, credit card number) strictly in compliance with the German Data Protection Act. The rules below inform you about the type, extent and purpose of capturing, processing and using personal data. This privacy policy applies to our own website only. If you visit other sites linked to our pages please familiarise yourself with their respective data policies.
§ 2 Inventory data
- Your personal data will only be used for processing your contract where needed for substantiation, additional content or changing the contractual relationship (inventory data). Your name and address, for example, has to be passed on to the supplier in order for the goods to be delivered to you.
- Without your explicit consent or legal basis your personal data will not be passed to any third parties who are not involved in the processing of your contract. Once your contract has been fully settled your data is blocked for further use. Unless you have explicitly agreed to the further use of your data it is deleted after provisions in terms of tax and commercial law have lapsed.
§ 3 Credit check
NordicUnion GmbH or one of our financial partners (Billpay, Billsafe, Hypovereinsbank, PayPal or a credit card company when a credit card is tendered for payment) may conduct a credit check. This does not cause any costs for the customer.
§ 4 About cookies
We use cookies to optimise our presence on the web. Cookies are tiny text files which are temporarily stored on your computer’s memory. They are deleted again when the browser is closed. You can prevent cookies from being stored by choosing the browser setting ‘block cookies’. As a result the performance of our presentation may be limited, however.
§ 5 Newsletter
When you subscribe to our newsletter your email address will be used for our own promotions until you cancel the newsletter. You can cancel your subscription at any time. You explicitly gave your consent, as below, either separately or while placing your order:

§ 6 Information
